After graduating from Georgetown University, Shea worked at numerous Boston eateries before meeting her future husband, Lee Chizmar. Together, they established Bolete in 2007 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Lee’s hometown. In 2015, two years later, they launched Mister Lee’s Noodles.

Shea’s boyhood home in Marion, Massachusetts, which is barely two miles from Silvershell Beach, is the inspiration for the restaurant’s name. The couple’s commitment to staff training and mentorship, together with their sourcing tactics, demonstrate their enthusiasm for sustainability and community development. Despite their success, Shea and Chizmar remain modest and committed to their work.

They continue to push the limits of what a restaurant can be, all the while being loyal to their roots and their love of cuisine and hospitality.
