The literal title of the upcoming space drama Asks the Stars, which will feature Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho from Pachinko, has been unveiled.
Romantic comedies are directed by Park Shin-woo, who is well known for shows like Lovestruck in the City and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Viewers have been blown away by both of these Netflix-exclusive shows.
The Korean drama was written by Seo Sook-Hyang, who has worked with performer Gong Hyo-jin on projects like Pasta and Jealousy Incarnate, also known as Don’t Dare to Dream. However, this will mark the director, writer, and performer Lee Min-debut ho’s first collaboration.
On March 28, Min-ho and Hyo-employment jin’s was announced, and the program’s producers also revealed the parts the two actors would portray in the upcoming drama.
In the space thriller, Min-ho will play Gong Ryong, an obstetrician-gynecologist who will travel to a space station as a tourist. He’ll be portrayed as a man who takes his obligations seriously.
Gong Hyo-jin will portray Eve Kim, an astronaut who is Korean-American. The premiere date for the program has not been made public. Speculation suggests that it will make its premiere in 2023.
In the meantime, Pachinko, a unique Apple TV+ production, might feature Lee Min-ho. Three episodes of the historical thriller have already been broadcast as of March 25.
In the web series, which is based on the same-named New York Times best-selling novel, he plays Koh Hansu. The show has received excellent reviews from international critics and has rapidly emerged as one of the most eagerly awaited K-dramas of the season.
On the other hand, Gong Hyo-jin most recently appeared in the popular Korean serial When the Camellia Blooms. Kang Ha-neul and Kim Ji-Seok played the main roles in the KBS sitcom. One of the most awaited shows of the season, it made its debut in 2019.
