US media report that 52-year-old Mike Batayeh, who played the manager of the Breaking Bad TV show’s fictional laundromat-turned-meth factory, has passed away.
Having experienced a heart attack, the actor and comedian passed away peacefully at home in Michigan on June 1.
According to the family, Batayeh had no previous history of cardiac problems, and his demise came very suddenly.
In a statement, his family noted that “he will be greatly missed by those who loved him” and by everyone who appreciated his work.
Batayeh appeared in three episodes of Breaking Bad, an acclaimed AMC series that aired from 2008 to 2013.
In the television drama, Batayeh portrayed Dennis Markowski, manager of the famed Lavandera Brillante industrial laundry, a front for a sizable meth lab operation.

He performed in a variety of films and TV series during his career, with American Dreamz, Detroit Unleaded, and The Bernie Mac Show being his most notable appearances.
In X-Men: Days of Future Past, he also provided the voice for the character.
A web obituary for Batayeh states that she is survived by five siblings and a large extended family.
He was respected by actors and his workplace.
Hollywood filmmaker Rola Nashef wrote on Facebook that Mike Batayeh was “everyone’s friend.” It was a heartbreaking loss of a wonderful life.
