How did Lena Hall start her Professional Career?

After performing on the national tour in 1998, Hall made her Broadway debut in 1999 as Demeter in ‘Cats’.

She played multiple roles in the 2003 musical “Radiant Baby,” which was about the artist Keith Haring. Lena Hall was Kelli O’Hara’s understudy as Lucy Westenra in the original company of ‘Dracula, the Musical’ in 2004.

She appeared on the 2008 reality show ‘Legally Blonde: The Musical – The Search for Elle Woods’, where she was the third contestant eliminated, and in the Off-Broadway musicals ‘Green Eyes’ and ‘Bedbugs!!!’.

The following year, she was Leslie Kritzer’s understudy in the role of Monica P. Miller in the musical Rooms: A Rock Romance.

In 2014, Hall was cast as Yitzhak in the Broadway production of ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch,’ opposite Neil Patrick Harris (a role previously performed off-Broadway by Miriam Shor), for which she garnered the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
