According to a funeral document obtained by TMZ, her last name was changed to “Chiochios” after she left the group to conceal her identity. In 2009, she appeared on Larry King Live on CNN with her identity concealed, revealing that she was undergoing therapy. She also apologized for everything that happened during the August 1969 tragedy.

Linda Kasabian testified against the other Manson Family members

Linda Kasabian testified for the state in exchange for protection during the Manson trial in the 1970s, which resulted in the imprisonment of Charles and other Manson Family members. The Tate-LaBiance killings were a two-day assault in 1969 that killed seven people, including actress Sharon Tate.

During her testimony, Kasabian stated that Charles Watson, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Susan Atkins broke into the Canyon home of Sharon and her husband, film director Roman PolanskiBenedict. Tate died as a result of the incident, despite being eight months pregnant at the time.

Tate’s ex-fiancé Jay Sebring, coffee billionaire Abigail Folger, her lover Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent, an acquaintance, and Sharon’s maid, were also killed. The night before, the gang assassinated Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. Linda denied any involvement in the massacre, but she did admit to driving the group in a vehicle during the deaths. The gang’s leader, Charles Mason, died of heart failure in November 2017.

Linda Kasabian’s childhood and where she lived throughout her life

Linda Kasabian was born on June 21, 1949, and had a difficult upbringing, including not being able to live with her husband at the same time. Despite the fact that her first marriage ended in divorce, she married Robert Kasabian in 1968 and had a daughter.

She worked as a chef for a while after the 1969 tragedy, but her legal problems did not end there, as she was arrested for violating driving laws. Despite initially avoiding the media, she was eventually featured in the Network news magazine show A Current Affair and then in the documentary series Manson.

According to Rolling Stone, she was detained with her daughter in 1996 after police discovered drugs, currency, a firearm, and ammo in their possession.
