Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) will make a comeback to Disney+ on September 19 with its most recent iteration after spending more than three decades on the ABC network.

But this is hardly the only adjustment this season. Professional ballroom and Latin dancer Lindsay Arnold has chosen to withdraw from the course.

The dancer, who previously competed in So You Think You Can Dance, has been a DWTS choreographer for the past ten years. On August 31, she posted on Instagram that she would leaving, writing:

“I wanted to let you know that I have decided not to compete in this season of Dancing With the Stars,” she said.

The dancer decided to leave the program to give her family and herself more attention. She emphasized her excitement for the forthcoming season and said the decision was “one of the most difficult” she had to make.

In its 30-year existence, Dancing With The Stars will debut on Disney+ for the first time. More famous people will take part in the event, dancing to a range of musical styles. To win over the judges and the audience, it links celebrities with choreographers.

For the previous ten years, Lindsay Arnold has competed on DWTS. Viewers first encountered her on the show as a professional dancer after she competed in Season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance and finished in the Top 4.

She enjoyed her time on the show but has decided not to come back for the most recent episode to spend more time with her family.

In an Instagram post announcing her departure, Arnold declared that she would be the season’s biggest fangirl and that she was beyond excited to see all of her friends on it.

Don’t worry, I’ll still be here talking about everything mom, going into greater detail about our TTC experience, developing The Movement Club, and so much more!

Both followers and friends praised the piece and offered their support. The professional will be greatly missed, said Nikki Bell of DWTS Season 25, who also complimented Arnold for being a wonderful mother and expressed her love for her and the family. 2019 partner Sean Spicer, who is dating Lindsay, said:

It was a pleasure working with you. I’ve seen how caring, kind, and patient you are every day. You did well in the program, and Sam and Sage now have you working for them full-time.

When she was four years old, the 28-year-old dancer from Utah started dance lessons to help her find her passion. At the age of eight, she started competing in ballroom dance competitions.

Lindsay Arnold is not the first dancer to leave the show before the start of the season. Additionally announcing her exit from the dancing competition program was Sharna Burgess. Brian Austin Green, the dancer recently gave birth to her baby Zane, and she has stated that she is not ready to stay away from her child for at least 10 hours each day.

She added that she enjoys being a mother and that she is a full-time nursing mother who does not want to limit her time with her child.
