Foumberg stated,

“She passed away calmly with both of her daughters holding her hands.”

The actress has been on life support for three days, according to a Facebook post by her friend Laurie Jacobson.

“She is woven into the fabric of popular culture and will always remain Wednesday Addams in our hearts,” she said.

From 1964 until 1966, ABC aired The Addams Family, the first adaptation of Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoons.

Ms. Loring has previously been in “As the World Turns” and “The Pruitts of Southampton.”

Lisa Ann DeCinces was born in the Marshall Islands as Lisa Ann DeCinces, but she began using a stage name at the age of three when she began modeling.

Her work inspired other adaptations of Wednesday Addams, including Christina Ricci’s portrayal in “The Addams Family” (1991) and its sequel.

Jenna Ortega is the most current actor to portray Wednesday Addams in the Netflix horror comedy hit “Wednesday.” This is one of the most-watched shows ever on Netflix.

In December, Ms. Ortega stated on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that she “paid respect to Lisa Loring, the original Wednesday Addams,” by performing “a little bit of her shuffle.”

John Astin, who portrayed Gomez Addams on “The Addams Family,” is the last surviving member of the cast.
