Lucas Bravo was born in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, on March 26, 1988, to former footballer Daniel Bravo and singer Eva Bravo. Bravo attended the Neuilly-sur-Lycée Seine high school Pasteur.
In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Bravo stated that he immigrated to the United States at the age of 18. In the same interview, he described borrowing money from a friend in Los Angeles to pay for lunch. He said,
“I had nothing, as you well know. Daily, I would give a friend $1 so he could purchase a 99-cent cheesy double beef burrito at Taco Bell. I was broke and happier than I’d ever been.”
In the 2013 series Sur le soleil de Saint Tropez, in which he portrayed Jeff, Lucas Bravo made his acting debut. He next played Antoine Mufla in Kim Chapiron’s La Crème de la crème.
Bravo rocketed to international recognition as Chef Gabriel in the cult Netflix comedy Emily in Paris. The vast majority of viewers and journalists applauded his performance on the program.
