The singer-songwriter Luke Combs and his partner Nicole Hocking Combs are expecting their second child. The couple, who have an eight-month-old child, plan to marry in August 2020.
The singer made the announcement on Instagram with a video that included a few photos of the couple holding their first child, Tex Lawrence. Tex was dressed in a romper with the words “big brother” written on it. The following was the post’s description:

Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking Combs first met in 2016 at the 30A Songwriters Festival in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They began dating soon after and married in November 2018. Luke announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram, posting a photo of Nicole wearing an engagement ring while on vacation in Hawaii.
The text stated:
“She said yes a while ago, but this is a far better photo location than the kitchen.” I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with you! “I absolutely adore you!”
In May 2019, the couple also got a dog together. Luke then released Beautiful Crazy, a song he claimed was inspired by Nicole. The couple exchanged vows at their home in southern Florida in August 2020. Luke wrote on Instagram as they shared photos from the wedding that it was the best day of his life because he married his best friend.
Nicole also expressed her joy on Instagram, saying she was overjoyed to be spending the rest of her life with Luke. She went on to say that while their closest friends and family were unable to attend the party, the couple is looking forward to the perfect day to welcome everyone.

The couple announced on social media that they were expecting their first child in January 2022 and shared a few photos from their pregnancy session. Nicole was holding her baby’s belly while one of them clutched an ultrasound.
They stated that the baby was due in spring 2022, but no specific date was given. Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking Combs welcomed their first child in June 2022. They shared the news on their respective social media platforms, with Nicole writing:
“This year’s Father’s Day will be difficult to top.” Welcome to the universe, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the most peaceful baby child, and I am proud to be your mother. “This is the time.”
Following the birth of their son, Luke revealed that the entire family had returned home from the hospital and that everyone was healthy and doing well. Combs previously told the Tennesseean during CMA Fest that he expects to become a parent by Father’s Day.
While Combs initially kept his mouth shut about Nicole’s first child, he has since spoken out about his own fatherhood experience. He stated that valuing his family is critical and that Nicole’s baby taught him a lot of new things. The couple will have their second child in September 2023.
