Luke Maye, Drake Maye’s brother, plays basketball professionally for Covirán Granada and committed to the team on July 31, 2022.
Luke began playing basketball at a young age, and he continued to play basketball at Cornelius’ William A. Hough High School until he graduated.
He played baseball in high school for four years before being forced to play basketball.
In 2015 and 2016, Maye began playing collegiate football as a freshman at the University of North Carolina.
Up until 2019, Luke played his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons at North Carolina before beginning his professional playing career.
He signed contracts with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2019 and Dolomiti Energia Trento in 2020. After that, he signed a two-year deal with Liga ACB side Baxi Manresa, staying with them until June 2022.
But as of July 2022, he has joined Covirán Granada in the Spanish LEB Oro. Since his collegiate playing days, he has established himself as the top player.
Luke is the youngest of the group and Drake Maye’s elder brother. There are three siblings total including Drake.
Drake’s three brothers are named Luke Maye, Cole Maye, and Baue Maye. Each of them participates in athletics.
Cole plays baseball, whereas Luke plays basketball. At Carolina, Baue has also been a baseball player; as we all know, Drake plays football.
