Artemeva/Nazarychev finished 10th at the Russian Elder Age Nationals in their sole domestic competition during the 2018–19 season. Artemeva and Nazarychev made their debuts as international junior athletes in September at the 2019 JGP Russia.

Artemeva/Nazarychev won gold, set new personal records, and finished first in the free skate and second in the short program in their second Junior Grand Prix event, the 2019 JGP Croatia.

This earned them a spot in the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final. After finishing third in the junior nationals and seventh in the senior nationals, they were awarded a trip to the 2020 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.

Artemeva struggled in the free skate, failing at her attempt at a side-by-side double Axel and on both throw leaps. Artemeva/Nazarychev competed in their maiden Grand Prix at the 2020 Rostelecom Cup, coming in sixth.
