There is no connection between John Madden and John Candy. There is no proof that they are siblings or in any other way connected. Only by coincidence do the two well-known figures appear identical.
Surprisingly, the two share a lot of similarities. While Candy is a well-known actor and Madden is a well-known NFL player, they have each had some experience in each other’s respective areas.
Little Giants, a 1994 family sports comedy movie, featured Madden. Alongside his broadcast colleague Pat Summerall, he also played himself in the sports comedy The Replacements.

Candy died suddenly on March 4, 1994, while Wagons East was being filmed. His death, according to a spokesman, was caused by a heart attack while he was sleeping. He was just 43 when he was born on October 31, 1950.
Candy had a reputation for leading an unhealthy lifestyle. He frequently overate, smoked, drank, and used cocaine. His father’s untimely death from a heart attack was another notable family characteristic.
