Maine Mendoza, 27, and Arjo Atayde, 31, first appeared in Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles in 2018. Numerous sightings of the two together in the same year sparked rumors that they were dating.
Together, they dined at a Makati restaurant, celebrated Halloween at a bar, and then attended the Mix 3 show. Mendoza stated Atayde was her friend during a news conference for Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
