Stephen Glover, Glover’s brother and a frequent collaborator who is also working on the new series, praised Obama’s writing abilities: In my opinion, she simply “will have a lot of wonderful things in the near future.” “I really like the way she writes.” Another reason the showrunners wanted Malia Obama to join the cast was her “unique viewpoint”:
“Donald frequently believes that perspective is important and that a writers’ room requires people with a variety of perspectives. And there’s no denying that [Malia] has a distinct point of view. As a result, we were eager to collaborate with her and benefit from her knowledge. Hearing about her experiences and involving her aided us in coming up with a plethora of brilliant ideas.
Obama Despite being the daughter of the previous president, Malia Obama received no special treatment, he added, adding that everyone on the team treated her equally.
