The award-winning musical Hamilton will tour the United Kingdom for the first time. The performance will run for 15 weeks at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, from 11 November 2023 to 24 February 2024.
It will then go to Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre for two months before touring the United Kingdom; further venues will be announced shortly.
Casting is already underway for the tour, which was penned by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and tickets will go on sale next month.
Since 2017, the Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller production has been performed to sold-out audiences at the Victoria Palace Theatre on London’s West End.

Cameron Mackintosh commented:
“I am ecstatic that it is time to form a second British national touring company to bring this fantastic product to our major cities.
“Opening first in Manchester, then Edinburgh – not far from Ayrshire, where Alexander Hamilton’s father was born in the 1700s before moving to Nevis, West Indies.
“Tomorrow, we will begin the search for a creative new company. We are excited to welcome viewers into “the room where it happens.””
Tickets for the Manchester performances will go on sale to ATG Theatre Card members on March 10 at 10:00 GMT.
Tickets for the general public go on sale on March 13 at 10:00 GMT.
