She first encountered her ex-husband in 1978 at the Westwood Bruin Theatre, where they instantly clicked. Bobby was five years younger than them, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love, and they soon started courting.
On their first date, the smitten couple took a flying lesson together, which was romantic. Soon after, they took their romance a step further and started living together. They had Katy as their first child in 1983.
