In the same courtroom on April 29, 2008, Marvin Harrison’s North Philadelphia business, Chuckie’s Garage, witnessed a verbal altercation between Dixon and Harrison.

Harrison was accused of shooting Dwight Dixon after a short disagreement.

Police officials questioned Dixon at the hospital after he had been shot on April 30, 2008. Dixon admitted to being robbed by two men and was shot while squabbling over the gun.

When asked to identify himself, he said he was Malik Tucker. When the situation changed later, Dixon revealed to police officers his real name, how, and where he had been shot. Then he penned a statement that was contradictory regarding the matter.

Harrison admitted to knowing Dixon and being at the car wash when the incident took place to police officials. Additionally, he told the cop about the altercation they had two weeks prior when Dixon attempted to force his way into his establishment.

Dixon asserted that Harrison fired shots at him. The shooting’s gun was the same model as Harrison’s, Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham revealed on January 6, 2009.

They were unable to identify the shooter, though. Harrison said that the firearm was at his suburban home since it had not been discharged yet after being purchased two years previously.

Police discovered a Belgian-made handgun at Harrison’s car wash a day after the shooting.

Dixon received a six-month probationary period for filing fraudulent reports about the incident. He passed away in July 2009.

According to a police report, Robert Nixon, a victim of the incident who was caught in the crossfire, sued Harrison and took responsibility for the crime.

Police conducted tests on the Harrison gun to determine whether it matched the 9mm round casings discovered at the shooting. Dixon asserted that Harrison’s other gun’s casing was in the object.

Police were unable to identify the shooter, thus Harrison was not charged. Marvin Harrison is not imprisoned, to be clear.
