The weekly Grace Bible Study at Chandler’s new location at the Paramount Theater saw an increase in attendees from a few hundred to several thousand.
After graduating from Hardin-Simmons University with a degree in Bible, he worked for Beltway Park Baptist Church, led by pastor David McQueen, in 1996.
In 1999, Chandler co-founded Waiting Room Ministries with his close friend Shane Barnard. The reason he left seminary both times he enrolled was that he believed he had learned all the skills he needed from bible school.
