Matthew Mire is a Louisiana guy who murdered a state policeman and a woman in the Baton Rouge region. Mire shot and killed his half-sister Pamela Adair before shooting and killing Louisiana State Police Master Trooper Adam Gaubert as he fled the scene. Story of a Shooting in Louisiana
According to officials, the crime spree began at midnight on Saturday when Mire entered a property in a mobile home park through the door and shot two individuals dead inside. They have, nevertheless, survived. Mire stole a truck from the surrounding region, and authorities suspect he previously knew the victims. Mire traveled to Prairieville to visit his half-sister Pamela Adair. He shot her and her companion, whose identity has not yet been established. Her companion was seriously injured, and Adair, 37, was slain on the scene.

According to police, Mire fired a weapon separately on the state trooper while fleeing the location on Saturday night, where he exchanged gunfire with the trooper during the encounter, and Mire was not hurt during that time.

Mire’s search had proceeded, and the department stated that the police, Homeland Security Investigations, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, and US Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms are all working together to find the individual in the surrounding area. Mire was transported to the hospital after being apprehended after shooting himself in the leg. The trooper had been with the agency since 2002, doing patrol duties in Baton Rouge, and they grieve the loss of his legacy to the department of services and the inhabitants of Louisiana.
