French criminal Matthieu Moulinas gained notoriety in the media when he was connected to the 13-year-old Agnes Marin’s murder.
On November 16, 2011, Agnes was killed at Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, Haute-Loire, France, after being raped. It was none other than Matthieu who was responsible for this heinous deed.
Not to add, the girl who was on parole at the time of the rape of another woman was a student at the same school as Moulinas.
Matthieu received a life sentence in prison in 2013. His punishment was the first instance in which a juvenile received a life sentence.

On December 30, 1993, in France, Matthieu Moulinas was born to his devoted parents, Sophie and Dominique Moulinas.
His father is reportedly a municipal councilor, while his mother, Sophie, is reportedly an accountancy executive. When they learned that their son had committed a crime, they were horrified.
Additionally, Sophie and Dominique forbade themselves from speaking in public until the Riom Court of Appeal condemned Matthieu to life in prison.
Because Matthieu was said to have had depressing ideas, it has been said that his parents supported him from an early age and took him to several psychologists, speech therapists, and other medical professionals.
Matthieu was detained in August 2010 on suspicion of raping a fifteen-year-old girl. For Sophie and Dominique, it was a devastating blow. They even released a book titled Parents à perpétuité in 2016.
The book, which detailed their experience, incited protests from the victim’s relatives. The Moulinas pair even said in an interview that their kid still had no regrets.

Matthieu is reportedly the oldest of three children and the one whom his parents had been waiting a long time for. Moreover, he was a kind and considerate boy, far apart from the persona that his parents unexpectedly came to know due to his misdeeds.
Other than that, Matthieu was raised in the Gard town of Nages-et-Solorgues, almost a hundred kilometers to the south. Moreover, Moulinas had a typical upbringing.
It is unknown what else is known about his other family members since Matthieu’s identity was made public shortly after he committed a crime.

Matthieu Moulinas was given a life sentence on June 28, 2013, and he is still incarcerated. As this was going on, the jury heard the prosecution’s request that they not grant the benefit of the doubt.
He went for a stroll in the forest with Agnes Marin on November 11, 2011. When they got to the jungle, Matthieu raped her, repeatedly stabbed her, then lit her corpse on fire with gasoline.
