The iconic soul singer was listed as an associate director on the official Crystal Palace football club account, which also stated that they were “mourning” the passing of the “legendary musician.”

According to sources, Maxi further stated that the team would enter the field on Boxing Day’s game to a Faithless song as a tribute.
