British rapper, singer-songwriter, and DJ Maxi Jazz was born Maxwell Fraser. From 1995 through 2011 and 2015 to 2016, he was Faithless’ main singer. In 2015, the Faithless frontman formed Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys. Jazz, 65, died Friday, December 23. His organization announced it on Facebook.
Maxi Jazz Diet Before Death
Over time, Maxi Jazz slimmed down. He never explained why. Jazz was healthy before his death. His insomnia persisted. He admits being in a difficult circumstance and unable to relax.
Medico Topics noticed Maxi Jazz’s harmful insomnia.He was previously diagnosed. “I can’t sleep,” he said. The rapper even wrote about his illness. On November 27, 1995, Jazz released Insomnia, signifying long-term suffering.“Somewhere down in the chest of the delicate evening, is the point at which I look for the light, pick up my pen, and begins to write,” he sings.
Maxi Jazz’s DVT:
In 2019, the rapper claimed he was healing from DVT. Blood clots (thrombus) in deep veins, usually in the legs, cause DVT. Jazz said on Facebook that he was healing and thanks everyone for “their overwhelming love and support shown from across the world.”
Doctors recommended him to rest and not travel for many weeks. His concerts were canceled. Jazz apologized to supporters and promised to return to the stage. He bought a drum equipment for home recovery.
Maxi Jazz Died Sleeping
Jazz, 65, died “peacefully in his sleep” in his London home on December 23, 2022. His death reason is unknown. Sister Bliss tweeted a black-and-white picture of her bandmate in homage. Bliss penned, “Maxi Jazz 1957–2022. Maxi died quietly yesterday night. Love to everyone who shared our musical adventure. Keep each other safe.”
Jazz was a Crystal Palace Football Club supporter and associate director in 2012. The club’s chairman tweeted that the first team would play Faithless at Selhurst Park on Boxing Day against Fulham in the Premier League.”Desperately sad to hear that we lost Maxi this morning,” wrote Steve Parish. He was a big talent, a huge club fan, and a beautiful, kind-hearted man.”
In Brixton, London, Maxwell Fraser became Maxi Jazz. West Norwood, Lambeth, was his home. Nichiren Buddhist, Soka Gakkai International member, and Burma Campaign UK supporter.
