Maxine Wahome, a rally driver from Kenya, was released on a Ksh. 100,000 cash bond as police investigated an incident in which they believe she attacked her partner.
Maxine Wahome created history in June of this year when, at the young age of 26, she became the first woman to win the WRC3.
The Police requested that she be detained for 14 days while Wahome was charged with seriously endangering Asad Khan, but Magistrate Benard Ochoi denied their request.
