Maysa Sweeten is best known as the sister of Sawyer Sweeten, Sullivan Sweeten, and Madylin Sweeten. Her three brothers all appeared on the TV show Everybody Loves Raymond.

On April 23, 2015, Sawyer, her brother, committed suicide. Sawyer, according to authorities, shot himself with a pistol. The impetus for this massive move was his inability to come out as homosexual. She was devastated when she learned of Sawyer’s death. In an interview with People, she stated,
“Although my memories of my brother are painful today, they are some of the finest I’ve ever had and deserve to live on in my mind and in the thoughts of my family for the rest of my life.” There isn’t a single day that I don’t think about him.”
Her stepfather is a close friend of hers
He adores her despite the fact that she is not Jerry Gini’s daughter. Maysa is content with her stepfather adopting her. On her 13th birthday, Jerry shared a photo of his daughter, who appeared to be overjoyed.
