Caesar-Su was born to an Irish mother and a Guyanese father on June 4, 1998, in Ladbroke Grove, London. Although Central has stated in interviews that he is from a working-class family and had a difficult existence, his family history is unknown. Along with his mother and three younger brothers, Cee grew up in Shepherd’s Bush. The first time Caesar-Su heard American hip-hop was on a trip with his father.

He became a fan of dancehall and reggae after attending Notting Hill Carnival. Despite occasionally acting out and losing his temper, Central Cee spent the majority of his time at school by himself. He attended Shepherd’s Bush High. Additionally, he says that he grew up listening to a wide range of music, such as rap, R&B, and garage.

The rapper began making music when he was 14 years old, but he left his job at a shoe store after just three weeks because of the low pay. Central Cee attributes his upbringing, despite his challenges as a child, with shaping his music and helping him establish a strong work ethic. He has stated in interviews that he is motivated to succeed in the music industry and make life better for himself and his family.
