When the singer announced she was pregnant to the audience during a charity event in Florida in August of that same year, she expressed her happiness over the then-new baby Xavier.
“So, God has given me this child that I am carrying. And I don’t have to keep it a secret from any of you,”
However, the 37-year-old remained silent about the father’s identity and continues to do so today. However, since the summer of 2010, the singer and her ex-partner, Antwaun Cook, had been having an affair. Fantasia, however, has never explicitly stated that Cook is Dallas’ biological father.
Dallas The middle child of Fantasia’s three children is named Xavier. He comes in second to Zion, his mother’s older half-sister from her previous union with Brandel J. Shouse. When she was 17 years old, the Free Yourself singer became pregnant with Zion.
Zion was ten years old when Xavier was born. A girl named Keziah London Taylor was also born through Fantasia’s union with her current husband, Kendall Taylor, and Dallas is her older half-brother.
Dallas probably also has half-siblings on his mother’s side, Cook, who is his purported father. Treyshaun is the name of the boy his stepfather Taylor also has from a prior relationship. When Taylor and Fantasia began dating, Xavier was two years old.
Dallas’ mother is currently wed to Kendall Taylor, as previously indicated. He seems to be a businessman. After barely three weeks of dating, the pair got married in July 2015. They are the parents of Keziah, who was born in May 2021.

In November 2020, AD Fantasia made it known that she and Taylor had trouble getting pregnant with their first child. Fantasia, however, shared on Instagram what she wrote after the couple realized they were expecting:

Father of Dallas Xavier Barrino, Antwaun Cook?
As previously said, Barrino has never confirmed whether Antwaun Cook is Dallas’ biological father, although they were undoubtedly having an affair when he was born. In the summer of 2009, Fantasia, Dallas’ mother, and Cook, his purported father, apparently began dating.
Dallas’ parents didn’t have a happy beginning to their relationship. Fantasia and Cook met during a period when the former was nominated for many Grammys and had a Broadway role in The Color Purple.
In contrast, Cook resided in Charlotte, North Carolina. But at that time, Paula, a woman with two children, was his wife.
After learning of Antwaun and Fantasia’s relationship in 2010, according to ABC News, Paula applied for custody of her children and later sued Fantasia under the “alienation of affection” statute.
