Rapper Richard Morales Jr., commonly known as Gunplay, started out in the Southern hip-hop group Triple C’s, which was fronted by Florida-based rapper Rick Ross.
Triple C’s first album, “Custom Cars & Cycles,” was published in 2009. Later, Gunplay joined Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, and in July 2012, he revealed that he had signed a solo recording deal with Def Jam Recordings.
