Jelena Ostapenko is a tennis professional. On June 8, 1997, in Riga, Latvia, he was born to Jevgengis and Jelena. Despite having a brother, Ostapenko is her parents’ only child.
Jelena, who grew up in an athletic household, began playing tennis at the age of five. Her mother got her started in tennis, and she grew up idolizing American tennis player Serena Williams. Jelena Ostapenko is the only child of Jelena Jakovlena and Jevgenjis Ostapenko, an exceptional tennis player. In addition to Jelena, her father has a son from a previous marriage named Maksim. Jelena was born in Latvia to a Latvian mother and a Ukrainian father. In his youth, Jevgenjis Ostapenko was a professional soccer player for Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, a club near his birthplace. Her mother, Jelena, is a former tennis player who is now a teacher.
