Loana Lecomte, the French mountain biking sensation, has the support of her parents, Loc and Cathy Lecomte. Loana began cycling when she was eight years old.

On August 8, 1999, she was born in Annecy, France. She started riding when she was eight years old and went on to win the national junior title in 2016 and 2017. Loana joins the Massi Bikes team in 2019 after being promoted from the U23 division. She won the U23 global and European championships, as well as the world team relay with France, in 2020.
Loana dominated the UCI XCO World Cup in 2021, winning six of seven events and the overall title. She also became the first woman to win the national elite title. In 2022, Loana joined the Canyon CLLCTV XCO Team1 and won the European elite championship in Munich, defeating compatriot Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. In the 2023 world championships in Glasgow, she finished second to Ferrand-Prévot. She also took silver in the team relay with France.
