She said that her mother Maureen held various odd jobs, including strippers, restaurants, and gas stations, in a media interview in September 2011.
Maureen would manage on it for as long as she could, according to the Just Go With It actress who played her mother. In addition, every Friday Maureen would tell Minka to skip school so they could go shopping at the US chain store Payless. Maureen also had one child, Minka.

According to the Euphoria actress, she would never know whether to be grateful for how her mother treated her or to yearn for Maureen to simply be her mother. However, Minka told Cosmopolitan that her relationship with Maureen was still “pretty complicated.”
Only the guitarist for Aerosmith, Rick Dufay, has been identified as Maureen’s companion in the records and journals. While accounts of their marital status differ, some seem to support the notion that they were husband and wife. Regardless, they would have Minka Kelly as their sole child once they were all together.

Although the exact date of Maureen and Dufay’s separation is unknown, the former decided to raise her daughter alone. Years later, though, Minka would disclose that her father had offered to co-raise the Drunk History actress and that he wanted to improve his relationship with Maureen.
But according to Dufay, the actress in her 30s declined, saying she was too busy having fun.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to be involved in our lives, though.
While elaborating on each of the aforementioned remarks, Minka said.
