On May 14, 1995, Rosemary Kathleen Lavelle was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the United States. She plays soccer professionally and is American. The siblings of Rose Lavelle, Nora, Mary, and John Lavelle, watched sports and played in their yards as they grew up in Cincinnati. A family of 65 relatives and 12 siblings makes up soccer. Their bond is quite strong. In addition, the siblings have a deep passion for sports. They are regularly observed enjoying sporting activities. Of the Lavelle siblings, John Lavelle is the oldest. Rosemary Lavelle’s Career in Professionals
Lavelle was chosen first overall by the Boston Breakers in the 2017 NWSL College Draft on January 12, 2017. With two goals in her first eight games as a professional, Lavelle won April Player of the Month. Lavelle was chosen first overall by the Washington Spirit later on, following their trade with Sky Blue FC for the first overall choice.
Furthermore, Lavelle only appeared in eleven games for the Spirit in 2018 due to injuries and international commitments. Lavelle was chosen for the end-of-season NWSL Best XI in 2019. On August 16, 2020, Rosemary signed a $100,000 transfer agreement with OL Reign.
For the FA Women’s Super League, Rose was forced to go on loan to Manchester City women. She scored her first goal in the 2020–21 FA Women’s League Cup on October 7, 2020, as the team defeated Everton 3–1. On May 17, 2021, Lavelle made her NWSL comeback as an allocated player, having had her playing rights acquired by OL Reign before she departed for England.
Additionally, Lavelle competed for the US at several youth levels. Since 2017, she has served as the global representative for the US WNT. In addition, Rose won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the group and will compete for them in Australia in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
