Jim volunteered to be her coach for almost three years due to the lack of girls’ teams and coaches. It was challenging to put together a girls’ squad back then, but because of Jim’s perseverance, Megan was able to follow her passion for soccer.

Her Irish great-grandfather traveled with six sisters, according to research into her family history.
