In 2003, Melati Wijsen was born in Indonesia. She is a teenage activist from Indonesia who helped launch Bye Bye Plastic Bags in 2013. Since then, she has founded One Island One Voice and led the young movement.
Mountain Mamas and Bali beaches are cleaned by Wijsen’s organization, and a group supports female entrepreneurs. She has delivered speeches all over the world, including at TED and the UN.
