A $130,000 18-karat white gold necklace named “Stella” with 13 black sapphires encircled by diamonds fetched the highest price. Following a raid in her Dover Heights house, Melissa disappeared from her residence on November 12, 2020. The last person to hear from her was her son. Although Caddick had left all of her possessions, including her cell phone, he believed she had gone for her regular walks. Later, she was reported missing by the authorities.
A decaying human foot was found inside a shoe washed up on Bournda Beach, on the south coast of the state, on February 21, 2022. However, the authorities determined that Melissa was the owner of the decomposing shoe based on DNA evidence.
As per the forensic experts’ assessment, there exists a possibility that she is still alive. However, Melisa’s passing was declared by the police in December 2022. They are, nevertheless, amenable to every scenario.
