During a Feb. 19 interview, ‘Sabrina The Teenage Witch’ star Melissa Joan Hart raved about her brief romance with Ryan Reynolds.
Melissa Joan Hart, 46, revealed she dated Ryan Reynolds, 46, for a brief period during the early 2000s while outlining her other relationships throughout the early 2000s.
At the Hey Dude… The 90s Called! podcast on February 19, she stated,
“I dated [actor] Corky [AKA Chris William Martin]” (listen to the episode below). Then, there was a minor incident with Ryan”
Chris and Ryan co-starred in the 1991 thriller Fifteen, but Melissa didn’t meet Ryan until they worked together on the 1996 picture Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
“I collaborated with Ryan Reynolds on the film Sabrina. “Ryan was in the first film we worked on together,” the blonde beauty remarked.
Melissa is currently married to 46-year-old musician Mark Wilkerson, to whom she has been married since 2003. Ryan has been married to Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively, 35, since 2012, as devoted HollywoodLife readers are well aware.
Melissa had already acknowledged her brief relationship with the Hollywood star in a 2017 interview with Studio 10.
“I had a boyfriend at the time, but Ryan and I were infatuated and adorable,” she said of her relationship with Ryan.
“He was a very, really kind guy who probably would have made a fantastic boyfriend, but I ended up with someone else. Perhaps I ought to have taken a chance!”
The week prior, the mother of three and her husband Mark celebrated Valentine’s Day with a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband. “The ideal Valentine for twenty years! Who better to accompany me on this voyage?
She captioned the snow-covered snapshot with “Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there!” On February 13, he announced that Ryan and Blake recently welcomed their fourth child together.
Melissa rose to prominence in the early 1990s when she played alongside Jason Zimbler, 45, and Sean O’Neal, 47, in Clarissa Explains It All. Subsequently, she assumed the role of the adored Sabrina Spellman from 1996 until the series’ conclusion in 2003.
Currently, the actress may be seen in a variety of other romantic comedies, including Mistletoe in Montana, Dear Christmas, and A Very Merry Toy Story.
Melissa is not just an actor, but she has also dabbled in producing and co-owns Heartbreak Productions with her 66-year-old mother, Paula Hart.
