How did Metin Copier start his Professional Career?
Copier, also known as Spirit Hips, had previously played for several clubs during his transient games career. He began his football career as a young protector for SV Siveo’60 and USV Elinkwijk before joining the Academy of Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in 2007.
He tried hard and expressed his desire to play for the stores before being promoted to the senior group in 2009. Despite having opportunities to play for the Netherlands, he expressed interest in playing for Austria because his mother is Austrian, and on March 25, 2009, he made his International debut as an Austrian against Italy.
Later, in 2010, he had a brief stint at Telstar in the Eastern Division, where he played four games but was still overlooked due to the progress of the chief. He moved to FC OSS at the time, where he only played three games and scored twice.
He moved to the United States in 2011 to play for the Dayton Dutch Lions of the USL Professional Division. After a year, he moved on to RKSV Leonidas, where he spent his final season.
