Michael Biehn worked with James Cameron before his rise to fame as a director. Before hearing the script for The Terminator, Biehn had never heard of Cameron, but he liked the script and agreed to play Kyle Reese.
The Hollywood Reporter was informed by the actor that he believed the movie would fail. “In my opinion, it had nothing going for it,” she said.
Nevertheless, the movie was a big success, making $37.7 million during its initial run on a $6.4 million budget. The Terminator helped Biehn advance his acting career, and he later starred in James Cameron’s 1986 picture Aliens.
Even more, people enjoyed Aliens than The Terminator. Two out of seven Oscar nominations were given to it, and it brought in $131 million worldwide.
Biehn didn’t appear in many major motion pictures after a few years of playing major movie stars. In reality, he only made a few prominent films, and most of his latter roles were in indie films.
The actor, though, asserts that he is indifferent. He admitted that Tim Burton’s Batman, in which he lost to Michael Keaton, and James Cameron’s Avatar were the only movies in which he was upset to not be cast.
Given that his children are considerably more important to him than his acting profession, Biehn does not regret not being one of the biggest stars of his generation.
Biehn said, “I have five boys, and I always wanted to be closer to them than I was to the movie business.
Additionally, he referred to Bruce Willis’ success and lamented his inability to put his job ahead of his children. With the number of movies Bruce Willis produces, I don’t see how he could ever lead a typical life where he spends every day with his children, drives them to baseball practice and school, and coaches their teams. You are the reason they are.
Biehn has five kids total from his three marriages. His first spouse, an actress named Carlene Olson, was wed on July 11th, 1980.
In 1988, Biehn wed Gina Marsh, who would become his second wife. The couple’s other children are their two sons, Caelan and Alexander Biehn.
Biehn and Marsh welcomed Caelan into the world on April 11, 1992. On March 19, 2003, Marsh gave birth to Alexander, completing their family of three after more than ten years.
Both Caelan and Alexander have experience producing movies and TV shows. In addition to appearing in The Magnificent Seven, Caelan served as a production assistant on Greystone and Among Friends.
The movies Psychophonia and The Dare both featured Alexander. He’ll be in My Jurassic Place as well.
In March 2014, Biehn and Marsh divorced after 25 years of marriage.

They got hitched on June 7, 2018, three years later. Blanc and Biehn have worked together professionally in the past. They co-produced and starred in The Victim, which was released in 2011.
