Michael Kopsa, 66, passed away on Sunday, October 23, after making appearances in movies like Fantastic Four and Highlander. Kopsa’s ex-wife Lucia Frangione announced his passing on October 25 and said he had a brain tumor at the time. As stated in the tweet,

“On October 23, 2022, Michael Kospa, my close friend and the father of my child, Nora, passed away from a brain tumor. He was an excellent painter, pianist, voice actor, carpenter, and actor in theater and movies. Most importantly, he was an attentive and loving parent.

For his portrayal of Rick Culver in the science fiction drama series The X-Files, Michael Kopsa gained notoriety. Although nothing is known about the character, he played a crucial role in moving the story forward.

The X-Files ran from 1993 to 2018 and was well-liked by both critics and spectators. It was influenced by suspenseful television programs like The Twilight Zone, Twin Peaks, Night Gallery, and others.

After being broadcast regularly on Fox until 2002, the show was brought back for an 11th season in 2018, and it was once again favorably accepted by the general population.

This led to the creation of a series that included two spin-offs, two films, and other content. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, two FBI special agents tasked with looking into paranormal events, were the center of the show’s main plot.

He later went on to play the lead in TV shows like T and T, Tropical Heat, and Falcon Beach. Kospi gained notoriety in Hallmark movies including Valentine in the Vineyard, Marrying Father Christmas, Love in Winterland, and others, and has 227 acting credits to his name.

The station paid tribute to him, stating that his legacy will be upheld and that he was a friend and colleague to many. He was also a successful voice actor, contributing his voice to movies like Galaxy Angel and Mobile Suit Gundam.
