Michael Schumacher’s fans are frequently curious about his religion. The ex-racer is a devout Catholic. Michael, on the other hand, does not identify with any other religion. On January 3, 1969, in the West German town of Hurth, North Rhine-Westphalia, Michael Schumacher was born to working-class parents Elisabeth and Rolf Schumacher, a bricklayer who later managed the local kart track.

Schumacher’s father modified his pedal kart when he was four years old by installing a miniature motorcycle engine. After Michael crashed into a lamppost in Kerpen, his parents drove him to the karting track at Kerpen-Horrem, where he became the club’s youngest member. Although Michael has not been open about his religion, several websites have stated that he is a Catholic.

Schumacher left Grenoble Hospital in June 2014 to continue his recovery at Switzerland’s Lausanne University Hospital. In September 2014, Michael was released from the hospital and taken home to continue his rehabilitation.

Similarly, the former German racer was reported to be “paralyzed and in a wheelchair,” “unable to talk,” and “having memory issues” two months later. Schumacher’s manager, Sabine Kehm, stated that his health was gradually improving “considering the severity of the injury he had” in May 2015.
