Afterward he was employed by chef Peter Timmins at Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen in Healdsburg, California, as well as the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples, Florida.
During his tenure as Chef de Cuisine, José Andrés’ Bazaar was a 2008 James Beard Foundation Award nominee for Best New Restaurant. The Dining Room at the Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, has garnered numerous culinary accolades, including the AAA Five Diamond Award, the Mobil Five-Star Award, and a Michelin Star—one of the few held by a restaurant in the United States—was Voltaggio’s restaurant. He served as Chef de Cuisine there.
