Micky’s father, Marcel van de Ven, is a former police officer who turned his professional life into a television career. In 1995, Marcel van de Ven began his career as a Dutch police officer. He began his work as an investigator at Police Zaanstreek-Waterland, where he stayed for seven years before leaving in 2002.
After joining the KLPD’s Specialist Tactical Team in 2009, he was appointed Chief Operations Vice Police for Police Zaanstreek-Waterland.
