Mike initiated his professional football career in 2013 with the Pittsburgh Steelers of National Football League (NFL). As of April 27, 2013, he signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent. After a season with the club, Golic signed a two-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on May 10, 2014.
