During his visit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Miles Teller remembered his encounter with William and Kate Middleton, who are now Prince and Princess of Wales.
Miles Teller, the star of Maverick, recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show. starring Jimmy Fallon, who discussed his encounter with Prince William and Kate Middleton at the movie’s premiere.
The film’s UK premiere was held in May of this year, and the recently appointed Prince and Princess of Wales came and spoke with the cast.
Given that there is a procedure for every meeting with a member of the royal family, the actor revealed to Jimmy Fallon how he breached it during their encounter.
“There’s a lot of etiquettes, and I had a document so I wouldn’t f**k it up,” Teller stated when discussing his preparation for his meeting with the royal couple. He continued by recalling what transpired, “If they don’t offer their hand first, you shouldn’t either. However, I sensed the energy and declared, “I’m going in, I’m going in.”
The actor continued to express his fascination following his meeting with Prince William by saying, “They did well by being quite disarming. I was lost.
Eyes of Prince William Kate was lovely and friendly, but with William—I don’t know—I kind of lost it.” The actor said that Prince William might now be a “lifelong admirer” because he feels that they had a positive relationship.
Miles Teller and Tom Cruise may have also violated royal protocol during the Top Gun: Maverick premiere, as it was said that the actor extended Kate his hand to help her up the stairs in a gentlemanly gesture.
