Miller made his debut in the American Professional Ice Hockey League in 2018. He played with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders during the 2018–19 United States Hockey League season.

His three-year, entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins was recently inked after he parted ties with the University of North Dakota hockey club.

He was selected in the 2020 NHL Draft by the Arizona Coyotes, where he spent his first two seasons before joining the Boston Bruins in 2022.

In 2016, Miller and a few of his buddies were charged with assault in an Ohio juvenile court and found to have violated the Ohio Safe Schools Act.

Once again, the Arizona Republic reported in 2020 that he had been accused of attacking Isaiah Meyer-Crothers.

Meyer-Crothers was tricked into tasting a piece of candy that was smeared in excrement during the attack.

Following the disclosure of the incident, Miller and a few of his buddies who were also engaged in the attack were forced to apologize to the youngster in writing, sent to therapy, given a 25-hour community service requirement, and told to pay court costs.

The victim said that the abuse continued for more than a year and that Miller often called him “brownie” and the “N-word” and slapped him whenever he saw the youngster.

They bullied the youngster aggressively and did so because of his race—he was Black and of African-American ethnicity.

After some time had passed, he told the boy about the situation and expressed his regret for making the incorrect decision.

In several images and chats that were made public, he described the child using a number of false terms. It was awful to see all of Miller’s messages.

Additionally, the message below supporting Miller was made public by Ty Anderson; it claimed that Miller had expressed regret to the youngster.

But according to the victim’s mother, he merely addressed it to the general public and never apologized to the youngster.

What Did He Say To Joni Meyer, The Mother Of The Victim?

Isaiah Meyer-Crothers’ mother claims that Mitchell bullied her adoptive kid for more than a year. The bullying that occurred at the school caused the kid to have developmental disabilities.

Miller used to declare that he was adopted and that his family did not love him; he had long-standing mental health issues.

He’s a monster, in my opinion, according to Joni Meyer-Crothers, who spoke with NBC10 Boston on Friday.

The youngster was informed by Miller that despite having a Black mother, she would never treat him as her own child. To use such an epithet against any youngster was quite cruel.

He began spending more periods of time alone as a result of the bullying. His parents began to speak to him less because they were worried about his mental health.

Mitchell recently sent her son an apology over Snapchat, adding, “It has nothing to do with hockey.” Well, hockey is involved in every aspect of it, she replied.

Miller’s mother made it difficult for him to advance in his job since she often complained about the bullying he engaged in when he was in eighth school.

“We’re going to hold him to a standard that he needs to understand that every one of us, as individuals, look in the mirror every day and respect for others and has to be, you know, unilaterally inclusive,” the victim’s mother said.

She began the controversy before signing the deal with the Bruins so they could look at it before committing.

But on November 4, 2022, Miller agreed to a three-year deal with the Bruins.
