Yung Gravy has issued a hard pass in response to Addison Rae’s father Monty Lopez’s challenge to a boxing battle.
On August 12, 2022, Gravy published a TikTok responding to Lopez’s recent internet jeers, which began after the artist ostensibly suggested he’d be content to go out on a date with his ex-wife Sheri Easterling.
Following that, Lopez posted a duet video featuring the rapper’s podcast appearance and a voiceover inviting the rapper to a match.
Additionally, he posted a second video of himself with the description, “When Yung Gravy won’t accept a boxing bout,” appearing to snarl in annoyance.
In a subsequent video, he persisted in stirring up Gravy, suggesting that the latter would not be up to the task since he might be too afraid to enter the ring.
Additionally, he instructed Gravy to disregard the papers and join him on August 8, 2022, the ring right away.
Not Interested in Fighting, Yung Gravy Lopez Monty
In his response video, Gravy duetted Lopez’s subsequent video and declared his intention to avoid conflict.
“I am an adult. I won’t argue with you about a TikTok grandmother. You have one of the most accomplished daughters in the world, and you decide to insult your entire family by acting half her age to gain some attention, the rapper stated.
He then urged the father of three to mature and seek assistance while warning him not to act foolishly should they ever meet paths.
The rapper’s assertion that Lopez “ought to get assistance” was echoed by fans.
“Monty requires aid. Seriously,” said one user, while “Ummm, I only hear facts from Yung Gravy” was written by another.
Others said Lopez should be canceled. Another person suggested, “I think that we should mass report Monty on everything like yall did Dixie that one time.
A fourth person interjected,
“Can we all report Monty from all the social media platforms?”
The rapper known as “Betty” appears to be done with Lopez as he recently published a new TikTok promoting his new track. Lopez has not yet responded.
He provided a preview of his brand-new song, “Cest La Vie,” but he did not reveal when it would be released. Monty Lopez claims he is acting in their best interests.
Before responding to Lopez, Gravy had posted a new TikTok explaining why he so desperately wanted to attack the musician.
He began the video by expressing gratitude to all of the viewers—including the Rae family’s supporters and Easterling stans—for their likes and comments. He then went on to explain why he was targeting Gravy.
“Yung Gravy needs to be careful about what he says because all those MILFS have father figures. My two boys going to school is what has me most concerned. and being teased as a result of Yung Grievances hooking up with their Mama,” Lopez stated.
He continued by saying that since their father was ready to knock down Yung Gravy in the boxing ring, he wanted his boys to attend school and receive accolades.
After that, Lopez referred to Gravy as a “fake rapper” and revealed that he was a vocalist, warning him to watch what he says.
