Moon Ga-young and Kim Seon-ho are great friends, as the acclaimed actress recently demonstrated when asked by Elle Korea to name the co-star she enjoyed working with the most.
Moon Ga-young has worked with some of the biggest names in Korean entertainment, such as Woo Do-hwan (Tempted: The Great Seducer), Kim Seon-ho (Welcome to Waikiki 2), Hwang In-youp, and Cha Eun-woo (True Beauty).
When she selected Kim Seon-ho from Welcome to Waikiki 2, everyone was surprised. Nonetheless, it was all for an intriguing cause. The actress joked that she chose the guy from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha because he is easily agitated and she wants a good rapport with him.
She declared:
“The most prudent course of action is to choose the person who is most easily offended so that I may maintain outstanding relationships… Because Kim Seon Ho is easily irritated, I will choose you, Woo Sik.”

Moon Ga-young and Kim Seon-ho had known one another for a considerable amount of time. In 2019, the co-stars of Welcome to Waikiki 2 met for the first time on the set of the previously mentioned drama.
Kim Seon-so plays Cha Woo-sik, a destitute musician who lives with Lee Joon-ki (Lee Yi-hyung) and Kook Ki-bong in a Waikiki guesthouse (Shin Hyun-soo).
It focuses on Cha Woo’s reunion with his first love and high school friend Han Soo-yeon (Moon Ga-young), who is left to fend for herself after her wedding is canceled.
The concert was only somewhat successful, but it strengthened their relationship. When Moon Ga-young was cast as the lead in the upcoming South Korean drama Find Me In Your Memories, starring Kim Dong-Wook, he decided to make a cameo appearance to show his support.
Throughout the years, they remained in contact by sending each other coffee trucks and shoutouts, with him contacting her in an episode of the variety show 2 Days and 1 Night.
They also appeared in advertising photoshoots for the spring/summer 2021 collection after being selected as Nau’s brand ambassador in 2021.
Recently, the actor from Start-Up declined an invitation to appear in Moon Ga-fantasy-thriller young’s drama Link, and Yeo Jin-goo was cast in his place.
Based on their performances in Welcome to Waikiki 2 and a brief appearance in Find Me In Your Memories, it is quite probable that they will work once more.
