According to CBN’s Faithwire, Hart and her husband, Mark Wilkerson, saw a group of kindergarteners fleeing the woods near The Covenant School on Monday while driving.
Melissa and her husband learned about the school’s active shooter while on their way to a conference. Their children were absent that day, thankfully. Hart and her husband helped others despite the risk. They helped kindergarteners cross a busy freeway safely.
Melissa Joan Rescued Kids From Shooting
Actor Melissa Joan Hart and her husband saved the kindergarten class from the Nashville school massacre earlier this week. Hart said in an Instagram video on Tuesday that her kids’ school is next to the prestigious Christian Covenant School. She claimed she and her husband helped several students escape the Monday shooting that killed six at her children’s school conferences.
Hart said she moved from Connecticut to Nashville and her children went to a neighboring school when 26 children were murdered and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012. She stated it was their second school shooting with their kids, and everyone was OK. Her video was too rough to release on Monday, where it was filmed.
