NBC News political correspondent Carol Lee wants to keep her personal life private, unlike some people who prefer to make it public. Only close friends and family members were present at the former White House Correspondents’ Association president’s intimate wedding to an army officer. A source other than the reporter broke the news of her nuptials.
This part includes a look at her personal life as well as all the facts we could find about her wedding. For more information, keep reading!

The NBC national political correspondent wed Major Ryan Harmon in private in June 2019 rather than hosting a public ceremony. Her wedding attracted a limited number of guests as well.
Politico magazine released the names of the bridal party: Brianna Keilar, Elyse Labott, and Anne Schroeder. The wedding was also officiated by Julie Mason.
The list of attendees also included Adelman, Margaret Talev, Jeff Mason, Kate, and Brooke Brower, Erica Werner, Kristen Welker, John Hughes, Dafna Linzer, Bart Gellman, Elena Nachmanoff, Nedra Pickler, Dana Milbank, Anna Greenberg, as well as Jerry Seib and John Garcia.
The Hotel du Village in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and Florida served as the venue for the wedding.
Friends of theirs introduced them
We are grateful to Fernando Lujan and Brianna Keilar, who is acquainted with the couple and are a married pair as well, for setting up their fate, or the first encounter, as it were.
Mutual friends of Lee and Harmon, Fernando Lujan and Brianna Keilar, first introduced them at a BBQ gathering. After their initial “meet and greet,” as it were, the two kept in touch and eventually started dating.
One child has already been born to Lee
The national political reporter had a son named Hudson Lee before being married to Ryan Harmon. Although she hasn’t publicly disclosed the specifics of her prior relationship, the son may be from that union.
In a birthday tweet sent to Hudson in 2018, the reporter gave Hudson this information. The reporter only addressed her son on social media in her birthday post to him in 2018.
She Has Experience as a Journalist
The native of Washington, DC received her journalism master’s degree from New York University. Following graduation, she spent three years reporting on politics in Florida, including the 2008 presidential election.
Later, she relocated to Washington, D.C., to work as a White House reporter for Politico and The Wall Street Journal. She presided over WHCA. For NBC News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and Sirius XM, Lee serves as a political reporter and commentator.
