On Monday in Kaslo, two police officers were murdered and wounded. This story has been trending on social media. One of the wounded cops was Mathieu Nolet.
Police Department of Nelson Const. Mathieu Nolet is in a serious condition, while Const. Wade Tittemore, 43, was slain.
Wade Tittemore, who is no longer with us, was a married guy and the father of two children.
Both police are skilled backcountry skiers who were equipped with beacons and had received avalanche training at the time of the event. Nobody was there to observe what occurred at the location, and the inquiry is still ongoing.
Since the event, their family member has been questioned, and the other Nelson Police Officers have also undergone several interviews.

Wade Tittemore, 43, died instantly, and Mathieu Nolet, who was critically wounded in the avalanche and sent to a nearby hospital, was also murdered instantly.
His family has been visiting Nolet in the ICU, where he is currently in serious condition. The officer has not yet been able to explain what transpired that day to a police officer.
Nolet will need time to recover before going back to work because of his many fractured ribs, shattered bones, and internal wounds. The two cops were off-duty and hiking in the woods at Kaslo, close to Nelson, on January 7, 2022.

Wade, according to chief officer Fisher, “was a true gentleman.” He was capable of handling situations when necessary, but most of the time, any problems we had in public were resolved by his mild, soft-spoken manner.
The bodies of two cops were found by four persons who were staying at the cabin; they speculated that it may have occurred about midday.
One officer was carried farther down the mountain and discovered beneath two meters of snow, while Nolet was saved by holding his arm above the snow line.

Nolet, who is 23 years old, is hurt and is presently in the intensive care unit. His family’s details have not yet been made public.
He may not have been married at the time since he was just beginning his profession as a police officer and was concentrating on it.
Wade Tittmore was discovered dead at the site, and Mathiew Nolet was also there. Tittemore, 43, was a married father of two and a spouse.
The officer, his wife, and their two boys relocated to Nelson four years ago. Although he used to work long hours, he was a family man who always made time for his wife and kids.
Their family member’s identity has not been made public, and an investigation is ongoing. Hopefully, Wade Tittemore’s murderer will be apprehended.
