Serious accusations against Montano, including the diversion of labor quotas, theft of public funds, and duty violations that hurt the Public Administration, led to his detention.
In conjunction with illicit efforts to sway national political decisions, the National Civil Police of El Salvador detained Montano.
According to allegations, Montano, the mayor of Soyapango, violated his obligations in order to influence the important strategic position and harm the public administration.
The National Civil Police of El Salvador assisted the Public Prosecutor’s Office in complaining about the offenses and their responsibility to uphold social justice, according to the arrest warrant for Montano.
President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador appeared to be against the mayor of Soyapango and in favor of the community and authorities.
In response to Montano’s capture, President Bukele claimed that corruption in the nation had never been addressed and that members of the same Party had discovered methods to corrupt the administration.
He pledged his support for legal action against corruption and the abuse of power by the police and other officials. The leader said:
We must understand that this is a requirement and that it is inevitable if we are to advance as a civilization. To allow the good to advance, we need eradicate the bad.
